Release Date:2024.05.22

Mr. Feng Yong, CEO of IBTR Energy Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. recently accepted an interview with Japanese media ENERGYBIZ, and talked about the development prospects of IBTR all-vanadium flow batteries in the Japanese market and the future layout of the company in the Japanese market.

Dr. Yong Feng said: "Japan is a key market for Abtri's global strategic layout, and we are very optimistic about the development opportunities of all-vanadium flow batteries in Japan's industrial and commercial side. Japan is facing rising electricity costs, severe power supply and other conditions, because the vanadium flow battery is inherently safe, ultra-long 25-year life characteristics, the company has received many Japanese partners in vanadium flow battery strong interest, our vanadium flow products are very in line with the new energy consumers in Japan professional and rigorous and long-term demands. It can bring stable and safe energy storage products and solutions to end users. The company will continue to do a good job of localized products and services, actively layout the Japanese market, and actively participate in Japan's goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050."

In the Japanese market, Abtri is currently focusing on industrial and commercial energy storage and some household energy storage needs. Industrial and Commercial we are currently focusing on two products: the highly integrated 125KW/500KWh prefabricated cabin product and the 250KW/1000KWh product on the source side (with longer duration requirements). Household energy storage will have application needs in some special application scenarios, and at present, we only launch it for some user markets.
